A low-power LoRa® transceiver SiP (System in Package) chip based on the STM32WLE5 Wireless SoC. It is the smallest LoRa module offered by RAKwireless under the WisDuo product line. Compared to the original RAK3172, it has more IO pins, integrated TCXO, and comes in a smaller size. Just like other WisDuo modules, it supports LoRa P2P and complies with Class A, B, & C of LoRaWAN 1.0.3 specifications.

The RAK3272-SiP Breakout Board is an evaluation board for the new RAK3172-SiP System-in-a-Package module for LoRaWAN. It can be used to evaluate the RAK3172-SiP module with access to all pins of the SiP module. All pins are accessible on 4 rows of pin headers with a standard pitch of 2.54mm.

A fingerprint sensor that supports both fingerprint enrolment and fingerprint matching. It creates a biometric template of the fingerprint and stores it in internal memory. An RGB sensor that detects the color of a surface by using its red, green, blue, and white light-sensing capabilities. It also has a proximity detection feature that uses an external IR LED, which can be used as a trigger mechanism to indicate when to start detection. A low-power angular rate sensor module based on MEMS technology that can measure rotation speed in 3 axes. It ensures stability on its readings with configurable internal filters and detection bandwidth. It also has a 16-bit high resolution and its range of angular velocity can be as high as 2000 dps (degree per second). There are many potential use cases, like fall alert detection for elderly care homes and navigation systems in drones.

Through Beam Fork Sensor Module

An optical fork-shaped sensor composed of two small PCB modules. One PCB connects to the sensor slot of WisBlock Base and the other with the actual OMRON fork sensor. The two boards are connected via cable, which allows flexibility when it comes to mounting the sensor. The Through Beam Fork Sensor can be deployed to measure motor rotation speed by using an external code disc that spins proportionally with the motor rotation. The fork sensor continuously monitors the spinning disc to determine the exact motor rotation speed in real time. It can also measure linear speed of actuators by using a linear code bar.

Inductive Sensor Module

A multi-channel inductance measurement sensor that detects the proximity of metal objects. It can support up to four sensing coils simultaneously making it a versatile solution for metal detection. This sensor uses a 28-bit inductance-to-digital-converter (LDC) chip that expresses measured inductance using a digital format. Whenever a metal is in close proximity (less than 1 cm) to the sensing coil of the WisBlock Inductive Sensor module, the metal is detected by the sensitive electric field, causing a shift in the resonant frequency. It can be deployed in factory production lines to create multiple inductive sensor configurations or to build a contactless water level sensor for plastic tanks.

An adapter board that makes WisBlock compatible with Sparkfun Qwiic modules and Adafruit STEMMA QT connectors. The Qwiic connect system consists of an array of compatible boards, components, sensors, and other accessories built for rapid, solder-free prototyping. The Adafruit STEMMA QT connectors are versatile connectors built for small I2C projects. They are both based on 4-pin JST connectors, which allow for interconnection between modules produced by different brands. With the RAK13009 adapter board, you can greatly expand the applications possible with your WisBlock.

It can handle 10BaseT and 100BaseT data transfer speeds and supports commonly used protocols such as IPv4, TCP, and UDP. With this interface module, you can deploy IoT systems that utilize wired Ethernet connectivity.

A joystick interface module composed of two PCB modules. One PCB connects to the IO slot of the WisBlock Base and the other with the joystick and usable buttons. It offers one analog joystick and four push buttons that can be programmed by the user. It can be used to build a BLE or WiFi-based remote controller for robot model cars or to add human interface control to IoT projects.

A gesture recognition sensor that enables you to control your IoT project simply by waving your hands in front of the sensor. This provides a hands-free method of controlling your devices. if you use this module. It can detect nine human hand gestures including waving your hand upward, downward, going to the left or right, clockwise, counter clockwise, towards or away the sensor and even just the friendly waving of your hand.

An RGB LED matrix interface module that drives an external RGB LED matrix up to 16x16 array size. Each independent RGB LED in the matrix can be controlled by the module and can be configured to produce creative visual output, depending on the RGB combination needed, as well as intensity of the application. It can be used to build visual panels to show information, warning signs, or other notifications.

The RAK19001 is the most expandable WisBlock Base module featuring the highest number of usable module slots. This improves the interconnectivity of WisBlock modules where the standard WisBlock Base RAK5005-O is not enough to cover all the needed modules due to its limited module slots. In addition to that, all GPIOs of this board are exposed with PCB header holes, making integration of external third-party modules very easy.

The second generation of our standard WisBlock Base Board. It improves upon the first generation WisBlock Base Board (RAK5005-O) by replacing the microUSB to a USB Type C Connector.
