How? The LoRa peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture implemented in the solution serves as the backbone of the communication network between the master computer and the 12 nodes comprising the interactive marketing system. This architecture is designed to facilitate seamless and efficient data transmission in environments where traditional Wi-Fi or LTE networks may be congested or unreliable, such as large-scale events or conferences.
At its core, the LoRa P2P architecture operates on the principle of direct communication between individual nodes without the need for a centralized gateway. Each node within the network is equipped with a LoRa transceiver, in this case, the RAK3172 module, which enables long-range wireless communication using the LoRaWAN protocol.
In the context of the interactive marketing system, the master computer serves as the central coordinator, responsible for orchestrating the activities of the 12 nodes and aggregating data collected from them. Through LoRa P2P communication, the master computer establishes direct links with each node, enabling bidirectional data exchange in real time.
When a participant interacts with a node, such as running their hands over an infrared sensor to score points, the node detects the activity and transmits the relevant data to the master computer via the LoRa P2P link. Likewise, the master computer can send instructions and updates to individual nodes as needed, ensuring synchronized operation throughout the system.
